Vacation Rental – Urban Nashville

For Christie’s bachelorette party, she wanted a location walkable to restaurants and shopping.  Through Urban Nashville Vacation Rentals, she found the perfect loft in The Gulch.  The loft is industrial, a bit noisy, and the open bed area gets very bright in the morning.  However, the girls LOVED the location – worth it!  Several mornings started with a workout downstairs at barre 3 followed by brunch!  A couple brunch spots to consider are Milk and Honey and City FireMilk and Honey is casual, with a menu full of variety, and very popular.  They do not take reservations, so you can put your name in and explore the area.  City Fire is a classy place with a really fun mimosa juice sampler menu item.  Try the cinnamon rolls as an app, yum!  There are plenty of bars in the area, but make a point to check out the rooftop bar at the Thompson Hotel called L.A Jackson.  Oh, and the very best part of this location is the wonderful local grocery store next door to the loft, The Turnip Truck, where the girls could be spotted at multiple times a day.

Loews Nashville

Located near Vanderbilt University (walkable).  Christie stayed here often for recruiting events at Vandy.  This location is also a very quick Uber ride to downtown Nashville.  The hotel has a great bar area and nice restaurant.  Christie will often take a walk (or drive if in a hurry) to yoga class Shakti Power Yoga or Hot Yoga Plus.  You could also venture over to The Gulch for a barre 3 class or just about anything else you want to do – shop, coffee, eat!

Hilton Downtown Nashville

In the heart of downtown and in walking distance of all the honky tonks.  This is a conference center hotel, so it is large and usually very busy.  There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel, Il Mulino, where you can grab a fantastic Italian meal or wine.  The hotel is connected to a gym for your workout needs.

Omni

Another walkable location in downtown.  This is a very similar situation to the Hilton but just a few blocks away and has a more luxurious feel.  This hotel has a very nice outdoor pool and also has a restaurant in the lobby.  You can also experience the spa and fitness center in the hotel.

Home 2 Suites Vanderbilt

Convenient location to downtown (5-10 minute Uber) and the hotel has a free shuttle that is extremely convenient.  You can walk to The Gulch or nearby restaurants and bars.  Vandy is a mile or so away also.  This is really a central location if you want to experience more of Nashville than just downtown.  Walk across the street for a really unique bar, The Patterson House, or experience one the most amazing meals of your life at The Catbird Seat.  It’s typically one of the hardest reservations to get due to limited seating.  Plan ahead for this (and it’s worth the cost)!
