Hotel

Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge

This little Holiday Inn is a hidden gem.  It is a little dated and the typical feel of a Holiday Inn.  However, we had one of the best experiences, each night of our stay, sitting at the enclosed rooftop bar watching airplanes fly into Ronald Reagan airport via the Potomac River.  It was pure entertainment for us.  Not to mention, we were a few blocks from the Metro train that took only a few stops to get to and of the typical DC tourists attractions.  We were also across the Potomac from Georgetown, which can be an enjoyable walk from the hotel.  Georgetown University is located over here, along with many shops and restaurants.  From the rooftop of the hotel one night, we kept looking at this beautiful structure above Georgetown and discovered the National Cathedral.  This wasn’t a site on our list, but we sure were glad after we visited.  We loved our stay here and it didn’t break the bank!
